Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be a woman between the ages of 17-25.
Applicant must be enrolled in or attending an alternative/trade school or have a written business plan.
Applicant must demonstrate commitment to personal growth, leadership, or community impact.
Applicant must follow all directions listed below to be considered.

The Network of Women In Business (NOWIB) Scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who, in the judgment of the selection committee, appears most deserving based on the scholarship criteria. Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded.

Applicant must complete the attached scholarship application.
Applicant must submit one (1) personal recommendation from an instructor, counselor, club advisor, coach, church leader, or employer, who is not a friend or family member.
The applicant packet consisting of the scholarship application, personal recommendation, a photo id and a signed copy of the release on Page Five (5) are all due to NOWIB by Friday, October 30, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The packet can be completed online or in “hard copy” form and mailed to the following location:

Scholarship recipients will be asked to provide a photograph to be added to the company website and to share with media. Recipient will be asked to join our January 14, 2027, kick off meeting from 11:30-1:00 in Indianapolis to receive her award and be recognized.
The recipient(s) will receive a one-year membership to in NOWIB as part of the winning award.
The applicant must be a legal resident of the State of Indiana.
